Bespoke & Made to Order
Last updated: August 2026
Made Especially for You
At Amarii, we believe fine jewellery should feel personal.
Many of our pieces are made to order and created specifically for the person who will wear them. From the diamond and metal to the ring size and finishing details, your piece is carefully considered before it enters production.
Because your jewellery is created specifically for you, the process is different from purchasing a ready-made item from a conventional jewellery retailer.
This page explains what you can expect when ordering a bespoke or made-to-order Amarii piece.
1. What Does Made-to-Order Mean?
A made-to-order piece is jewellery created specifically in response to your order rather than selected from existing finished inventory.
This may include:
- Engagement rings
- Wedding rings
- Bespoke rings
- Individually selected diamond jewellery
- Custom ring sizes
- Personalised jewellery
- Engraved pieces
- Custom metal selections; and
- Other jewellery created or modified specifically for you
Your piece may require the sourcing of a particular diamond, preparation of materials and manufacturing before it can be completed.
2. Bespoke Jewellery
Bespoke jewellery involves a greater degree of individual customisation.
Depending on the design, this may include:
- A unique ring design
- Custom dimensions
- Changes to an existing Amarii design
- A particular diamond
- Specific setting requirements
- Custom metal combinations
- Engraving
- Personalised details; or
- Other design modifications
Because bespoke jewellery is created specifically for you, the final piece may not be suitable for resale to another customer.
3. Your Diamond
Where your Amarii piece includes an individually selected diamond, the diamond forms an important part of the creation process.
Your diamond may be specifically sourced, selected and allocated for your order.
Where applicable, you will receive the relevant diamond grading report or certificate for your individual diamond.
The diamond supplied will correspond to the specifications confirmed for your order.
For eligible diamonds, our selection process is guided by Amarii Curated™, our diamond selection philosophy.
You can learn more about our approach on our Amarii Curated™ page.
4. Confirming Your Design
Before production begins, we may provide you with relevant order details for review and confirmation.
Depending on your piece, these may include:
- Ring design
- Ring size
- Metal
- Diamond
- Diamond specifications
- Setting
- Band dimensions
- Engraving
- Personalisation; and
- Other custom requirements
Please carefully review all details before providing your final approval.
Once production has commenced, changes may no longer be possible.
5. Ring Size
Selecting the correct ring size is an important part of ordering your Amarii piece.
We recommend obtaining a professional ring measurement before placing your order.
Ring sizing can be affected by factors including:
- Finger shape
- Finger width
- Temperature
- Time of day
- Ring design
- Band width
- Setting style; and
- The fit preference of the wearer
If you are purchasing an engagement ring as a surprise, we recommend contacting Amarii for guidance before selecting a size.
Amarii Fit™
We are developing Amarii Fit™ to provide customers with a more considered approach to ring sizing and comfort.
Further information about Amarii Fit™ will be provided separately.
6. Design Approval
Where a bespoke design or CAD representation is provided, it is intended to help you understand the proposed design before production.
Please review all available information carefully, including:
- Overall design
- Stone placement
- Ring size
- Band dimensions
- Setting
- Engraving
- Metal
- Proportions; and
- Other requested details
Once you approve the design, production may commence.
Minor differences between a digital representation and the finished handmade jewellery may occur as a result of manufacturing processes and the physical characteristics of precious metals and gemstones.
7. Manufacturing Variations
Fine jewellery is individually manufactured rather than mass-produced.
As a result, minor variations may occur between:
- Product photography
- Digital renders
- CAD imagery
- Computer-generated representations; and
- The finished piece
Minor variations in metal finishing, proportions, surface texture or other manufacturing details do not necessarily constitute a defect.
Where a specification has been expressly agreed as part of your order, the finished jewellery will be produced in accordance with that specification, subject to reasonable manufacturing tolerances.
8. Production Times
Made-to-order jewellery requires time to create.
Your estimated production timeframe will be communicated at the time of purchase or during the ordering process.
Production time may depend on:
- Diamond availability
- Diamond sourcing
- Design complexity
- Customisation
- Material availability
- Engraving
- Manufacturing requirements; and
- Quality-control processes
Production timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Your delivery timeframe begins once your jewellery has completed production and is ready for dispatch.
Please refer to our Express Delivery Policy for information about delivery following dispatch.
9. Changes After Approval
We understand that you may have questions or want to make changes while your piece is being created.
If you wish to make a change, please contact Amarii as soon as possible.
We will determine whether the requested change is still possible based on the stage of production.
Changes may not be possible once:
- A diamond has been secured
- Materials have been allocated
- Manufacturing has commenced
- The setting has been produced
- Engraving has commenced; or
- Other irreversible production work has begun
If a change is possible and results in additional costs, we will advise you before proceeding.
10. Cancellations
Because made-to-order and bespoke jewellery is created specifically for you, cancellation rights differ from those applying to standard retail products.
If you wish to cancel your order, contact Amarii immediately.
Before production begins, we will assess whether cancellation is possible based on the stage of your order and any costs already incurred specifically for your piece.
Once production has commenced, made-to-order, bespoke and personalised jewellery generally cannot be cancelled for change of mind.
Please refer to our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy for full details.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
11. Engraving and Personalisation
Where engraving or personalisation is requested, you are responsible for checking the spelling, wording, numbers and other details before approving your order.
Once engraving or personalisation has commenced, changes may not be possible.
Personalised jewellery cannot generally be returned or exchanged for change of mind.
This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
12. Quality Control
Before your jewellery leaves Amarii, we undertake appropriate checks to ensure the finished piece corresponds with your order.
Depending on the piece, this may include checking:
- Overall construction
- Setting and stone security
- Diamond specifications
- Ring size
- Metal
- Finish
- Engraving or personalisation; and
- General presentation
Our objective is to ensure your jewellery reaches you in the condition and specification expected of an Amarii piece.
13. Your Finished Jewellery
Once your piece has been completed, it will be prepared for secure dispatch.
Where applicable, your jewellery will be accompanied by relevant documentation, including the diamond grading report or certificate for your individual diamond.
We recommend keeping your certificate and purchase documentation in a secure location.
14. If Something Isn't Right
If your finished jewellery does not correspond with your confirmed order, appears to have a manufacturing defect or otherwise does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, please contact Amarii.
We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and, where applicable, the Amarii Lifetime Warranty™.
Please do not arrange repairs, resizing or alterations with another jeweller before contacting Amarii if you believe the issue may be related to manufacturing.
15. Your Responsibilities
Because bespoke jewellery involves decisions specific to each customer, we ask that you carefully consider and confirm:
- Your ring size
- Diamond selection
- Metal
- Design
- Engraving
- Personalisation
- Other specifications; and
- Any design approval provided before production
We are always happy to answer questions and provide guidance before you approve your order.
16. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Bespoke & Made-to-Order Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
The fact that jewellery is bespoke, personalised or made to order does not remove statutory consumer guarantees.
Where jewellery does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy depending on the circumstances.
The Amarii Experience
Your Amarii piece isn't simply selected from a shelf.
It is considered, crafted and finished specifically for you.

Your diamond. Your design. Your Amarii.
