The guide
About our solitaire
A solitaire is the purest expression of an engagement ring: one centre diamond, held simply, so nothing distracts from the stone. It is timeless, easy to wear every day and pairs beautifully with almost any wedding band.
Every Amarii solitaire is made to order in yellow, white or rose gold or platinum. Choose your band, from a fine plain shank to a pavé band, then select your certified lab grown diamond in the shape you love. Diamonds of one carat and above come with an IGI report, and every ring ships with complimentary express delivery across Australia.
Questions
Frequently asked
Which diamond shape suits a solitaire?
Every shape works in a solitaire. A round gives the most sparkle, an oval or pear lengthens the finger, and an emerald cut shows off clean lines. The simple setting lets the shape lead.
Should I choose four or six claws?
Four claws show more of the diamond and give a cleaner, squarer look. Six claws hold the stone a little more securely and give a rounder, softer outline.
Will a wedding band sit flush with a solitaire?
Many of our solitaires are designed so a straight band sits neatly beside them. If you are unsure, ask us and we will recommend the band that sits best.
Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. Lab grown diamonds are real diamonds, with the same chemical, physical and optical properties as diamonds formed in the earth. The difference is where they grow, not what they are.
Is the diamond certified?
Centre stones of one carat and above are independently graded by IGI, and the report comes with your ring. Smaller stones are hand selected to colour D, E or F, VS clarity and an Excellent cut.
Which diamonds does Amarii offer?
Amarii Curated diamonds are Ideal or Excellent cut, D to F colour and IF to VS2 clarity. You choose the shape and carat, and every stone we offer meets that standard.
How long does an engagement ring take?
Once your design is confirmed, your ring is made to order in three to four weeks, with complimentary express shipping within Australia.
Can I change the design?
Yes. Every design is a starting point. Book a video consultation and we can adjust the setting, band or details, and you approve the CAD before anything is made.
